Ashley-Carter Ltd undertake the full or partial restoration of Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Jaguar classic and performance cars as well as Vintage car restoration. We are good at listening to the owners’ exact requirements, and pride ourselves in keeping all updated with progress.
The majority of the required restoration operations are undertaken in house, and where necessary, we outsource specialist skills to the best and most appropriate people for the requirement - such as chrome or nickel plating, trimming and wood re-finishing.
Utilising our own specialist machine shop, we can remanufacture small parts to help your car restoration project as required.
We are particularly good at re-building rear axles and have extensive knowledge of the processes and parts requirement for undertaking ratio changes, which is done in-house.

Ashley-Carter Ltd have been asked to complete a restoration already started by the owner. Due to a change of circumstances, we were tasked to complete the restoration and get the car on the road. Tasks required involve the specialist repair of rusted sections to the underside of the chassis, and a general overhaul of the mechanical aspects of the car. We hope to present the car for MOT any time now.
We have been commissioned to restore this car to its former glory, while keeping the originality and patina of the interior trims. The car has been delicately stripped, preserving all window glasses and chrome. New running boards have been re-created using the original panels where possible and replacement Ash framework where required. View more images on our gallery.
